Cofundadora da ABRACE, Ana Lúcia acumula anos de experiência profissional em comunicação corporativa, responsabilidade social e liderança comunitária, além de ser uma referência em bilinguismo e português como língua de herança na região de Washington, Distrito de Colúmbia. Mudou-se do Brasil para os Estados Unidos em 2003, é casada com um americano e tem dois filhos nascidos nos EUA e orgulhosos das suas raízes, mesmo depois de terem morado por 3 anos na China. Ana Lúcia participou da fundação do grupo Mães Brasileiras de Virgínia (MBV) em agosto de 2004 e da criação do programa de educação em 2005 que foi a semente para o nascimento formal da ABRACE em 2009. Ela também ocupou o cargo de diretora executiva da ABRACE até a metade de 2019 e desde então é membro do Conselho de Administração.

Ana Lúcia Lico – Graduated in Pharmacy and Biochemistry from Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), has postgraduate Integrated Communication at the School of Advertising and Marketing (SP) and an MBA in Business Administration from USP. In over 20 years of career, Ana Lucia was responsible for planning and implementation of programs of Corporate Communications for internal and external audiences, including government agencies and the press, and the implementation of social responsibility projects with the involvement of local communities in national and multinational companies. U.S. resident since 2003, has consulted in the area of ​Development and Customer Relations in Brazil Information Center (BIC) between June 2004 and May 2006. Ana Lucia is married, has 2 children, and co-founded the group Mães Brasileiras da Virginia (MBV) in August 2004, motivated by pride in their roots and their Brazilian identity and the desire that one day their children will feel the same. Joined the board of education and culture projects of MBV, initiatives that were the seed for the birth of formal ABRACE in 2009. Ana Lucia is co-founder of ABRACE, held the position of Executive Director until January 2019.
